YWCA LGBTIQ Tuggeranong

A-Z, Sexuality and Gender Diverse Social and Support Group and LGBT + Allies Prom.

Youth Engagement A-Z

A-Z provides a safe, non-judgmental space for gender and sexuality diverse young people who want to meet new friends and hang out. It offers an opportunity for young people to learn, participate in relevant events, and hear from guest speakers. Young participants will be encouraged to suggest speakers and topics.

A-Z is primarily a social group, and is a safe space. Although allies are welcome to support their friends at A-Z meetings, young people are encouraged to make new friends through the meetings.

As a non-religious, not-for-profit community organisation, YWCA Canberra encourages the participation of people of all cultures, beliefs and ages. Strengthened by diversity, we are committed to recognising and celebrating the value of every human being.

YWCA Canberra Youth Engagement Officers will liaise with other community groups to gain insight and feedback to promote continuous improvement of this new and exciting program.
