Community Home Australia

Community Home Australia is a nurse and research led, non-for-profit, registered charity. Our day centre, Club Kalina, supports people of all ages living with disability having a focus on those with Younger Onset Dementia.

Our team collect our members every morning, ready to provide the best person-centred care possible.

We achieve this by conducting purposeful living activities such as making dog toys for the local pound, trips to the coast, painting, karaoke, and many other social activities. By providing opportunities for people with dementia to be an active participant in the community, they can live meaningful, purposeful lives.

WE OFFER OUR GUESTS THE CARE THEY DESERVE

Care and support at Community Home Australia means connection to the local community.

A diagnosis of Younger Onset Dementia does not have to mean being locked up in a traditional nursing home away from the world.

Our superior levels of specially trained dementia care staff allow us to provide a care experience like no other … you will be enabled, encouraged and supported to live your life as you wish while remaining an active participant in the local community.

As a fully registered NDIS Provider we are able to offer a wide range of specialist support services including emergency and planned respite, supported independent living, day programs and holiday support.
