Bowen Therapy

Bowen is a holistic technique used to help relieve pain. It works on the soft connective tissue (fascia) of the body. A Bowen treatment consists of sequences of small moves, each at a specific site on the body. It can be done through light clothing.

Bowen Therapy is an Australian hands-on system of bodywork.

It’s particularly effective in:

  • relieving pain
  • headaches
  • migraine
  • asthma
  • reducing stress and
  • provides a great detox.

A Bowen treatment consists of a systematic series of moves at precise points on the body. It can be done through clothing. A treatment will take about 50 minutes, with best results being achieved from a series of three or four treatments.

Patricia Jones has practiced Bowen for over 20 years - Member BTFA.
