Bit Bent

Hosted by Capital Region Community Services (CRCS), Bit Bent is a drop-in service and social support group for same-sex attracted and sex- and gender-diverse young people and allies in the Canberra region. We provide a welcoming environment for you to be yourself.

Bit Bent is an informal group held at the Belconnen Youth Centre] where LGBTQIA+ young people and allies come together in a safe and supported space to meet new friends, talk about their experiences and share information about local events and relevant supports.

Whether you’re looking for resources, connections, or simply a place to hang out and be with like-minded individuals, Bit Bent has got you covered. Drop in and be a part of our community today!

We run two drop-in sessions every week:

  • For ages 18 to 25 years: Mondays from 5.30 to 7.30pm
  • For ages 10 to 17 years: Thursdays from 4 to 6pm.

Please do not attend if you are unwell, and continue to adhere to COVID-19 precautions.
