Murrumbateman Field Days

Everyone is welcome at The Murrumbateman Field Days. Held in October of every year is one of the region’s premier events and the flagship annual event for the Yass Valley - Murrumbateman is around 30 minutes from Canberra.

An outstanding family event, the Field Days are held on the third weekend in October and each year around 22,000 people including nearly 500 exhibitors descend on a 40 acre site at Murrumbateman Recreation Grounds for the two days. Visitors come from the local area as well as Canberra, the Southern Highlands, Sydney and even further afield.

The power of the community is behind this event. Murrumbateman Field Days is one of the events operating under the Murrumbateman Progress Association (MPA) and it has raised nearly $1million for local community groups over the past five years.

The MPA is a voluntary, not for profit, community-based association operating in the Murrumbateman area in New South Wales. The MPA acts as an umbrella organisation to assist community members to conduct their activities with appropriate legal cover and other support.

Join us for the Murrumbateman Field Days - it’s a country experience for the whole family!
