Diabetes NSW & ACT

Diabetes Australia is dedicated to helping people living with or at risk of diabetes, their families, friends and carers.

Our priority is the health and wellbeing of our community and we provide programs, services and information to help everyone affected by diabetes.

Diabetes increases your risk of heart and kidney disease, amputation and blindness. But you can manage the risks and stay healthy. If you’re over 40, the first step is to understand your risk, and then have an annual diabetes test with your GP.

If you’re already living with diabetes, ask your doctor to register you with the National Diabetes Services Scheme, so you can access the free services available to people with diabetes.
