Men who have sex with men (MSM) clinic.
Sexually transmissible infections don’t always have symptoms, so you could have an STI without knowing and pass it on to someone else. That’s why, if you’re a man who has sex with other men it's important to get a regular sexual health check.
Melbourne Sexual Health Centre also offers appointments for free and confidential sexual health checks for gay and other men who have sex with men.
Counselling Services
Qualified counsellors in sexual health and sexually transmissible infections (STIs), including HIV, are available from Monday to Friday at Melbourne Sexual Health Centre. Counselling is by appointment only. Please contact MSHC (hyperlink) to make a booking. Counselling is available for individuals or couples with concerns about sexual health and STIs, including HIV. The counsellors will assess anyone who is referred to the service and discuss the options open to the client. There is a limited ability to provide ongoing therapy at MSHC. The service is unable to offer counselling to couples or individuals experiencing relationship difficulties or to provide ongoing therapy for people with sexual dysfunction.
