ACT Rescue and Foster

ACT Rescue and Foster is a group of volunteers who rescue dogs and puppies from Canberra and local pounds and care for them in their own home until their forever home is found.

ARF has saved over 2,660 dogs since its inception in 2001, and we work closely with other regional pounds, including Queanbeyan, Yass, and Goulburn, and regional rescue groups.

Everyone involved with ARF is a volunteer; including foster carers, pound temperament testers, committee members, event and function coordinators, and communication, marketing, and media liaison.
